P.R.O.G.E.N.T. Grant Program Guidelines - 2024

• JADE will grant up to $150 per single business or $50 per business for group promotion for business advertising, promotion, and promotional signage to qualifying Jewell…A Main Street Community business partners. Grants are awarded on a 50/50% match basis. 

• This Grant is limited to one per year per single business. Group business promotions are not limited per year. Group business promotions are considered those businesses that pool funds together to create one ad/promotion. All group promotion businesses must be current business partners and partners at the time of promotion.

• Applications submitted for pre-project approval must be completed within three months from the approval date to receive funds.

• Mention, text or logo of JADE or Jewell…A Main Street Community must be included in advertisement/promotion for consideration. This requirement does not apply to signage.

• Any business requesting grant reimbursement must be a current partner of Jewell…A Main Street Community and a partner at the time the promotion is/was placed. 

• Grant applications must be submitted within three months of paid promotion expense to qualify for reimbursement. 

• Projects that have accompanying Main Street/JADE Promotion Committee consultation or have not been granted P.R.O.G.E.N.T. funds previously will receive priority. 

• Purchases are encouraged to be made locally if possible. 

• A maximum of $2,500 will be awarded per calendar year. Allocated funds are available until exhausted annually. 

Grant Approval Process and Applicable Reimbursements

• The Promotion Committee reviews project eligibility then present grants to the Board for decision.

• Approved applications will be granted a reimbursement of 50% of the total amount of the promotion or an amount not to exceed $150 per single business application or $50 per business per group promotion. Project quote or invoices must accompany grant application.
